Classic Wedding Dresses – style shooting in Magical Tuscany.

As part of my job as an international bridal dresses designer, I am often asked to collaborate with bloggers and photographers from all over the world. These collaborations involves known fashion photographers, bloggers and stylists from different countries who ask me and my crew to participate in those professional style shooting .

this time, we were asked by a team of British stylists, who specify in wedding-planning in different locations around the world, to take part in an outstanding production that was about to take place in the magical area called “Siera” in Italy.
The location for the photoshoot was “Villa Geggiano”, which is an old and extensive mansion abundant with amazing celling hand paintings. The castle itself is surrounded by an ancient buildings and enchanted gardens that comprise endless rows of cypress trees and wineries. Furthermore, the landscape of the area is breathtaking – it is romantic and magical as one. The aroma of the wine and the colorfulness of the place create an unforgettable sight that is wonderfully suitable for anyone who has ever dreamt on a romantic, Toscana-style wedding in a “magical gardens” ambiance.

There are very few places around the world whose atmosphere provokes such a romantic and tender feeling as “Villa Geggiano” does. The spectacular views, the noble uprightness of the cypress trees and the hypnotic sunshine that gently immerses in the magnificent landscape, are the reasons that made us all fall in love with the final images.

The set planning included the use of big peony flowers in the shade of blushed pink and table arrangements in a romantic decoration. The photoshoots were located next to wall paintings, rare celling paintings and rich work of art that filed the area.

Together with the British-Italian production team, we chose for the photoshoot a wedding dress that blended the best in the magical environment and atmosphere. The chosen dress was the “Naama” bridal gown. This is a classic and romantic gown that is composed of 2 pieces in a delicate shade of powder. The gown is made of layers of soft tulle fabric and has a fitted mermaid cut. Moreover, the “Naama” gown has some generous cleavages and it is enriched with plain pinky-powder fabric. The main element that adorns the gown is the shoulders decoration which is handmade with many crystal stones and has an antique look.  the chosen gown is a romantic and classic wedding dress that is characterized with loose style but also with a glamorous and fashionable look.

The flower arrangements, that were meticulously chosen, incredibly contributed to set’s beauty. The blushed pink flowers, together with the romantic and soft makeup of the model and her loose hairdo, provided the wedding dress its special, vintage and romantic look. The brilliant styling and all the elements mentioned above, created a unique appearance to our wedding dress and enable such an unforgettable photoshoot production to come true.

Special Wedding dresses – non traditional wedding dresses

Zahavit Tshuba’s love for design began in her childhood thanks to her parents who worked for many years in the fashion business. Zahavit worked with her mother in designing wedding dresses in Israel and in New York. Later on, she studied fashion design in Shenkar College External Studies program.

Zahavit’s studio crew understands that every bride wants to be special and noble in her wedding day. She wishes to feel pretty and glamorous than ever in an outstanding wedding dress. Moreover, every bride has her own personal preferences and style. It’s Zahavit’s role, as an international wedding dresses designer, to design for each bride the most prestigious and special dress. Needless to say that the design would be in accordance to the bride’s personal taste, and to the mentality and atmosphere of the wedding depending on the country in which it takes place.

As a person who is fond of contrasts and interesting combinations of simplicity and prestige, Zahavit chose to design her latest collections in a way that corresponds with the bohemian life style. This style is neutral in aspects of time and place, it was prevalent during the 60’s and the 70’s in different areas around the world. The bohemian style is free of trends or any common traditional elements. By being so, designing in a bohemian style, is open for any interpretation. In some extant, the bohemian style is opposed to the more restrained style that widespread in the bridal industry.

This “designing freedom” allows the creation of wedding dresses which, on one hand, are glamorous and prestigious, and on the other hand, have a loose feeling that doesn’t resemble any other bridal look. As a result of being inspired by the bohemian ambiance, we design wedding dresses that transmit a message which is out of the ordinary in the bridal industry. Some of the impressing fabrics we use are quite common, for example, tulle fabric and all kinds of silk fabrics. However, we combine them with antique looking crochet laces, which are rare, and also with blown or falling shapes of skirts and gentle corsets with a young look. These elements provide the bridal gown its spectacular and prestigious look but more importantly, its uniqueness, since this wedding dress is not like any other.

Our studio is situated in “Mandarin” hotel, which is located on the northern part of the shore of Tel-Aviv. In our studio, one will be able to find wedding dresses with an haute couture atmosphere. These were designed for brides who have a fine taste and who are looking for a different design to their wedding dress. What makes the difference between a “wedding dress” and a ‘prestigious’, ‘modern’ or ‘unique wedding dress’ is the use of special fabrics along with the right amount of embellishments, special crocheted laces, and also the sexy and modern cuts.

Our bridal gowns are characterized with a clear fashionable ambience. That is to say, that they have a glowing and up-to-date look, as opposed to a more traditional bridal look. That is what makes our wedding dresses just as special as the brides that come to us from all over the world. These are special women who has strong affinity to the fashion world, and who don’t compromise for the banal bridal look.

The foundation stones of the studio are: innovation, prestige and uniqueness. According to Zahavit’s saying – “without innovation and the creation of unique models in each collection, I won’t be able to fulfill myself as a bridal dresses designer” – we make sure to be up to date, on regular basis, regarding to everything that happens in the fashion world. In addition we participate in fashion displays around the world.

Nowadays, our bridal gowns can be found around the world in main

cities such as: Tel-Aviv, Moscow, London, Los Angeles.

  4. Vintage Classic Wedding Dresses

    Vintage Classic Wedding Dresses

This Blog will focus on a special vintage photo-shooting that took place in the most romantic city of all – Venice. A city where the only means of transportation is the Gondola.
Last summer we were asked to collaborate with the exclusive and famous wedding blog, “The Knot in Italy”, in a special shooting day that was held in the legendary Ca’Sagredo Hotel in Venice. This unique building from the 19th century, abundant with renaissance celling paintings, was turned into a world-wide known and prestigious hotel where lots of famous movies were filmed.
In addition to its fancy history and breath-taking inner design, it is ideally located by the Grand Canal, close to the well-known Rialto Bridge. The magnificent wall paintings by Tiepolo and the gorgeous furniture of the hotel, contributed to the magic vintage atmosphere. This was the perfect set for a production, aimed at the vintage-style wedding dresses photo-shoot.

In order to complete the production, we were asked to send two vintage-romantic-style bridal gowns. This style is characterized by its soft colors and by the use of light and falling fabrics which create a nostalgic and delicate look for the vintage wedding dress.
The dominant colors of the production were the shades of blush powder pink and ivory and in order to complete the vintage look for the gowns, we added to the décor gentle touches of deep green with hints of ivory.
Two vintage style wedding dresses were chosen for the model to wear at the photo-shoot in Venice. The first is the ‘Naama’ gown from Zahavit Tshuba’s bridal collection of 2014. This is a two-piece bridal gown in the shade of blush powder pink. It has a deep V neck cleavage in the front, made of handmade pleated tulle and shoulders’ decorations that are completed with soft tulle and handmade ornaments of pearls and Swarovski crystals. All these, along with Rene Caovilla’s crystal shoes and a golden belt from Zahavit Tshuba’s collection, enriched the wedding dresses’ look with a vintage, glamorous, romantic, soft and elegant touch.

The second dress that was chosen for the photo-shoot was the ‘Keren’ gown from Zahavit Tshuba’s bridal collection of 2015. The ‘Keren’ bridal dress is in shades of ivory and powder and has a ‘sweetheart’ neckline. It is a combination of an antique Victorian look lace fabric with an ivory silk organza ruffles work. A wedding dress with a classic vintage look.

Befitting the prestigious ‘The Knot’ bridal magazine, the production team put a lot of efforts in planning and designing the set. Gentle hand paintings were made in advance, marvelous glass balls were brought. There were beautiful flower arrangements along with a dessert table loaded with golden macaroons. Those elements, in addition to Gondola-sailing photo-shoots and breathtaking photographs of the old building’s celling paintings, made it possible for the shooting production to create a perfect and special view for the classic vintage-style bridal gowns.

Needless to say that it would have been impossible to reach such a high level of production without the excellent work of Jo Lewis, the photographer. The projects was impeccably conducted by the fashion journalist and wedding planner, Irene Recupero, from ‘The Knot’ bridal magazine.

  6. Zahavit Tshuba, bridal dresses designer

Zahavit Tshuba, bridal dresses designer A designer is often asked “What inspires you? What guides you during the process of designing a wedding dress?” In general, it is common to create an inspirational formula to each collection which provides a repeated motif that leads to a visual harmony of the final collection. When we come to put together a collection and to choose the guiding line of the design, we often find ourselves repeating similar designing motifs in more than a single collection. For example, in our bridal collection of 2013, the use of the color powder-pink combined with handmade jewels decorations, was prominent. These kind of motifs can also be seen in our bridal collection of 2015, thus, they are part of the designer’s signatory. Our inspiration is drawn by observations of all walks of life, whereas, in most cases the inspiration is not coming at all from the common wedding dress design style. Our wedding dresses design is mainly influenced by the bohemian chic that was popular in the 60’s and 70’s, which can still be seen in movies from those times and among rock and pop stars. Zahavit Tshuba, Israeli wedding dresses designer, is inspired especially from the bohemian chic, which is free of trends and usually associated with intellectuals and artists. This kind of design provides Zahavit Tshuba’s bridal collection its uniqueness and difference from the common wedding dress design. Another prominent motif of Zahavit Tshuba bridal design is the use of contrasts. The combination between simplicity and the use of prestigious and unique lace fabrics, hand work elements along with non traditional, simple and light cut designs of wedding dresses, is dominant in her work. To sum up, Zahavit Tshuba’s wedding dresses design is influenced by a variety of elements. However, the unrestrained and free of trends kind of style, is the one that inspires her the most. Her wedding dresses are known for combing simplicity and prestige which creates a distinguished look that is different from the prevalent styles in the bridal industry.
